What is SRMJEEM
The SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Examination (SRMJEEE) is a university-level entrance examination conducted by the SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST) for admission to its B.Tech programs. SRMJEEE is the gateway to all campuses of SRMIST located in Kattankulathur, Ramapuram, Vadapalani, Ghaziabad, and Amaravati.
As one of the most popular private university entrance exams, SRMJEEE attracts a vast number of applicants from across India and abroad each year. The exam is conducted online in multiple phases, providing candidates with flexibility. The application process for the first phase usually begins in the last quarter of the preceding year.

SRMJEEM Eligibility Criteria 2025
- Candidates must have passed or be appearing in the 10+2 or equivalent examination.
- For most B.Tech programs, candidates must have Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) as core subjects and should have secured a minimum aggregate percentage as specified by the university (typically around 50-60%).
- For B.Tech in Biotechnology and related fields, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) students are also eligible.
- Both resident and non-resident Indians can apply.
