MIT-WPU GIEET Eligibility Criteria 2025
- Candidates must have passed the 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
- They must have also studied one of Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocational subjects.
- A minimum of 50% aggregate marks (45% for reserved category candidates) in the above subjects is required.

A: GIEET is the entrance examination for admission to the B.Tech programs at MIT World Peace University, Pune.
Q2: Is GIEET the only criterion for admission?
A: No. MIT-WPU uses a composite scoring system. Admission is granted based on a 50% weightage to the GIEET score and a 50% weightage to the aggregate percentage in PCM subjects in the 12th standard.
Q3: Can I get admission based on other exam scores?
A: Yes, MIT-WPU also accepts scores from MHT CET and JEE Main for B.Tech admissions. Candidates with high scores in these exams may be given preference.
Q4: Is there negative marking in the GIEET?
A: No, there is no negative marking in the GIEET exam, which encourages students to attempt all questions.
Q5: What happens after the exam?
