In 1978, New Law College, Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed to be University, Pune was founded. In 2017, ‘NAAC’ gave it an ‘A+’ grade (Third Cycle) again. The Ministry of HRD has also given it “A” Grade University Status. The Bar Council of India (BCI) and the University Grant Commission (UGC) both recognize it as a part of Bharati Vidyapeeth University Pune.
