What is DU LLB?
The DU LLB Entrance Exam is a national-level law entrance examination conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to the 3-year LL.B. program offered by the Faculty of Law, University of Delhi. From 2023 onwards, admissions to DU’s LL.B. program are based on CUET-PG (Common University Entrance Test – Postgraduate) scores, replacing the earlier DU LLB entrance test conducted by the university.
The exam evaluates candidates on their legal aptitude, comprehension skills, general awareness, reasoning ability, and analytical thinking, ensuring suitability for rigorous legal education. DU’s Faculty of Law is one of India’s most prestigious law institutions, known for its strong academic foundation, experienced faculty, affordable fee structure, and excellent exposure to litigation, judiciary, academia, and public policy careers.

DU LLB Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for admission to the 3-Year LL.B. program at the University of Delhi, candidates must meet the following criteria:
Educational Qualification
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree (in any discipline) from a recognized university.
The degree can be 3 years or more (e.g., BA, BSc, BCom, BTech, etc.).
Minimum Marks Required
General / OBC / EWS category: Minimum 50% aggregate marks
SC / ST / PwBD category: Minimum 45% aggregate marks
Final-Year Students
Candidates appearing in the final year of their graduation are also eligible to apply.
Admission will be provisional, subject to submission of final mark sheets at the time of admission.
Age Limit
No upper age limit for admission to the DU LL.B. program (as per BCI and DU norms).
Entrance Examination
Admission is based on CUET-PG (Law) conducted by NTA.
Final selection is done through merit-based counselling conducted by the University of Delhi.
Nationality
Indian nationals are eligible.
Foreign nationals may apply as per University of Delhi guidelines.
