What is IBSAT?
IBSAT is an annual national level entrance exam conducted for admissions to MBA/PGPM/Ph.D. Programs at the nine campuses of ICFAI. The exam is held in 20+ cities in India. The exam has been held in computer-based test (CBT) mode since 2020. This includes remote-proctored modes. The exam is conducted by The ICFAI Foundation For Higher Education (Declared as a Deemed-to-be university under Section 3 of the UGC Act 1956) which is one of India’s eminent institutes, providing globally-recognized programs and opportunities to students. Being one of the largest multidisciplinary educational institutions in India, ICFAI Foundation For Higher Education is a reputed institute of India.

IBSAT Eligibility Criteria 2025
- Completion of graduation in any discipline with minimum 50% marks
- Students in the final semester of graduation may also apply
- At least 15 years of formal education (10+2+3 or 10+2+4).
- For PhD program an additional two years full-time Post Graduation in Management or other professional qualification like CA/ICWA with 60% marks or equivalent must be
- Medium of Instructions must be English, at UG level otherwise candidates will need to submit TOEFL/NELT/IELTS scores by May 31, 2025.
- There is no age limit for applying for the IBSAT test.

IBSAT Exam Pattern 2025
IBSAT is an objective test, comprising four key areas, which primarily assess the aptitude skills of students. The exam pattern and marking scheme for IBSAT have not changed over the years. It is a two-hour exam that consists of a total of 140 questions, and is shown in table format below for IBSAT 2026:

Registration Process IBSAT 2025
Online Registration
- Visit the official website,
- Click “Apply to IBS” button.
- Fill in all details then pay the application fee of Rs.1800 through Debit Card/Credit Card or Net Banking. The hard copy of IBSAT Bulletin reaches you within a week.
- A successful transaction will generate an email to the candidates with an application number and password.
- You need to login with the credentials to fill out the IBSAT application form 2025. Before you fill out the application form, candidates are required to change the password.
Offline Registration
- You may purchase the IBSAT application form 2025 from any of the IBS Marketing Branches by paying the application fee of Rs. 1800.
- The IBSAT form consists of a scratch card with the application number and password on it.
- Then, go back to the official website and login with the credentials to fill out the IBSAT 2025 application form. The candidates are required to change the password before they fill out the application form.
